Our Story

Atoshia started with a bottle that didn't get finished.

Magnesium is one of the most recommended supplements in the
world, and one of the most quietly abandoned. People buy it,
take it for a week, and stop — because the cheap forms most
brands use are poorly absorbed and rough on the stomach.

The problem isn't the mineral. It's the form.

Magnesium oxide is cheap to produce and easy to pack into a
single small capsule, which is why it dominates the shelf. It's
also one of the least absorbable forms available. Glycinate
costs more and takes more capsules to deliver a meaningful
dose — 2,500mg of the compound for 275mg of elemental
magnesium. That's three capsules, not one.

We decided the harder version was the right one.

WHAT WE DECIDED

Three capsules instead of one. We could have made a smaller
serving that was easier to sell. It would have meant switching
to a form that doesn't work as well.

Five ingredients. Magnesium glycinate, a plant-based capsule,
and three things that keep the powder flowing and the capsule
intact. No colours, no sweeteners, no proprietary blends
hiding the doses.

One product. Most supplement brands launch with twelve SKUs
and hope something sticks. We'd rather get one right.

HOW IT'S MADE

Atoshia is produced in the United States in an FDA-registered,
cGMP-compliant facility, and shipped directly from there to
you. We don't own the factory — very few supplement brands do,
including the ones that imply otherwise. What we control is
the formula, the dose, the label, and what we're willing to
claim about it.

Which brings us to the last thing.

WHAT WE WON'T SAY

Magnesium is not a cure for anything. It won't fix your sleep
in a night, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling
something they shouldn't.

What it does is well documented: it's involved in hundreds of
processes in the body, most people get less than they need,
and the glycinate form is the one most people can actually
keep taking.

That's the whole pitch. If it's the right fit, we'd rather you
take it for a year than buy it once.
